The central design is the Griffin, a mythological creature which is half eagle, half lion and which has been
the symbol of the City of Perugia since medieval times.
The meaning of the Latin motto “per aspera ad astra” is that through adversity it is possible to reach the
stars.
The background diamond pattern is a Renaissance interpretation of a typical design used on the
Perugian Tablecloths in the medieval era and is called “Occhietto Perugino”.

So now you want to buy one of our pieces Atelier?

Mass production does not exist in our workshop. Every single piece we create is a singular unique project, made with love and care. The characteristic that defines our work is that every personalised piece is a bespoke creation, using a wide range of decorative motifs and original colour combinations exclusive to our atelier.

Our artistic production is woven by hand, in linen, cotton, silk, cashmere blend and gold and silver laminate.
We use 18th century pedal looms and 19th century Jacquard looms to create tapestries, tablecloths, bedspreads, doilies, table runners, cushions, lamp shades and home decorating fabrics: all our pieces are bespoke and personalised.
We also make mussels and scarves in silk or cashmere blend and a range of small accessories.

We offer our clients pieces that are truly unique, each with its own story to tell and entirely woven and finished by hand: fill out the form or contact us directly for more information about how to make your purchase or to request a quote for your personalised piece.
